MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1989 film?

In 1226, later than the death of St. Francis of Assisi, his closest friends, including Santa Clara, speak of the saint's life. Francisco was born into a family of wealthy merchants and lives surrounded by amenities. But one day he comes face to face with human suffering, and their existence changes dramatically: the existence of God is made clear by the poor, and since then decided to live as Jesus Christ, giving up all their wealth and living in communion with nature.
