MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1991 film?

Eddie and Dixie supported and encouraged to U.S. troops in three wars. Eddie only thing that mattered was the fame, the case of Dixie was very different: she had lost her husband in World War II, he had seen his uncle was accused of being a communist by his own friends and how his son was facing atrocious destination in Vietnam.
