MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2012 film?

In this intimate portrait, filmmaker Alan Berliner introduces his cousin, colleague and former mentor Edwin Honig, which spans the last years of his life with Alzheimer's. In the last phase of the disease, Honig, who was an eminent poet, translator, literary critic and university professor, has lost all contact with his family, his past and identity. However, during the conversation, at times lights the flame of his spirit and his labored poetic description of what happens to produce scenes of great beauty. This documentary offers a sensitive and empathetic compassionate and humorous view of the condition being treated Honig, and tells the story of his life with the raw honesty that characterized his poetry. Dialogues with the family and friends of the main figure completes the fragmentary portrait of a life marked by fate, love, loss, irony and literary audacity. In group Honig's personal history and the study of mental deterioration process spanning more than the sum of the parts. An essay on the fragility of the Lord and the profound role of memory in our lives.
