MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1985 film?

Year 1950, Roman countryside near the sea. Porelli Vanni Baker is responsible for the corporation prom woman's daughter Gaia on a farm in ruins. The work is hard and the woman refuses to pay or at least progress, but must accept, because ten years earlier, during the declaration of war in 1940, had been kissed by surprise by Gaia, whose family worked for his mother. Vanni will work, helped by his son Nicola, two children orphans adopted by his wife, some evacuees who had illegally occupied the house and other occasional collaborators. The festival will be a disaster, totally disorganized and inadequate for the demands of Gaia.
