MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1999 film?

In 1984, the Sicilian Mafia has on the judges Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino his most implacable enemies. Through its investigations have managed to imprison hundreds of little gangsters. However they are unable to get to the real kingpins since all detainees kept a stony silence. It's Omerta, the code of silence: never betray their bosses. Judge Falcone suspects the highest political circles of the country are involved in shady dealings of the Cosa Nostra, but has no evidence to prove it. Everything will change with the arrest of Tommaso Buscetta a repentant gangster determined to break the Omerta. Falcone, finally get the evidence needed, and bonnets may be detained. Falcone Buseta and pursue together the most important gangsters and befriend a sincere work. But the Mafia is not going to be with hands crossed and has prepared its response to the persecution: Falcone, Borsellino and Buscetta their days are numbered. They know it, but far from being frightened work harder than ever for mobsters and corrupt politicians with their bony den in jail, even though it costs them their lives.
