MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2009 film?

North Korea is the most closed and isolated from the world, with a communist dictatorship that has become a prison for its own residents. The leader, Kim Jong - il, is a tyrant without any concern to fund a nuclear weapons program while his people starve. People are desperate to escape but the shortest route, straight across its southern neighbor, is impossible. A deserted stretch of 248 kilometers long and 4 kilometers wide divides the two Koreas since almost six decades. Minefields and a million soldiers congregate on both sides. Those who want to escape only have one option, the route to the north by China, then to Laos and finally to Thailand, the only Southeast Asian country that will allow North Koreans to travel to Seoul. For over a year, a group of TV has been investigated in South Korea, China, Laos and Thailand about life of North Korean refugees and for the first time cameras have accompanied a group during the grueling journey to freedom, one flight of ten thousand kilometers whose failure is death.
