MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2000 film?

Jimmy, a young boy trying to gain acceptance from his peers, is horrified when he sees a circus trainer abusing a bear cub. One of the circus employees tells Jimmy that there is a magic cave in the nearby hills where you can transport people to another time, and perhaps can be used to help the bears. Jimmy explore a bit to find the cave, and is surprised to find himself transported back to the early 1800s where he meets Jeremiah, a human nature lover mountain which is a bear friend. Jeremiah agrees to come forward and help Jimmy, but the twenty-first century is very different to the nineteenth century, and save the bear cub will not be as easy as Jeremiah thought.
