MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1988 film?

Tells the story of John Armstrong, an English soldier destined to Menorca the year 1738 during the British occupation. A triangle of admiration and love between Armstrong, a native woman of Ciutadella, and a painter living in the island. Armstrong underwent a profound transformation influenced by the two women and abandons his military status. A very personal look on Menorca, dominated by the English, and moral process of a man before the discovery of the reality around him.
