MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1974 film?

In the capital of New Spain in the late sixteenth century, an epidemic blamed the Jews. One of them, Don Rodrigo de Carvajal, a native of Benavente in Spain, is buried by his widow Frances and her sons Luis, Mariana, and the Dominican Fray Baltasar Gaspar. Noting that the relatives of the dead practiced Jewish rites, Fray Gaspar the complaint to the Inquisition. Baltasar only manages to escape, while others are arrested and imprisoned. Francisca is tortured by order of the Grand Inquisitor Fray Alonso de Peralta. Mariana is raped in his cell and Luis hears the screams of his mother from hers, which is accompanied by Fray Hernando hallucinated, a spy.
