MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1946 film?

A writer accesses Argentina travel with a detective, a married and a lady in a car, to cross the mountains. A storm forces them to seek refuge in a cabin inhabited by an old fan of the esoteric arts. Along the way we meet the story of Albert and the reasons for his arrest. In an oversight the prisoner and the woman escape from waking the detective ? ?
