The film is based on the farce that was released with great success in 1929 and was the subject of many performances so far. This is the first sound film Leopoldo Torres Rios, who was advised by Carlos Torres Ríos technique. Paloma tells the romance between the daughter of the owner of a tenement, with the handsome Villa Crespo.
