MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1979 film?

In a big city with 15 million residents strange deaths begin to occur citizens. Two doctors begin to suspect that the cause is not a simple pneumonia as everyone thinks but lies like a plague that struck in the middle ages. The authorities and the media, influenced by these, people deny the existence of such evil and do not take the necessary actions to remove it.
