MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2005 film?

This acclaimed documentary, directed by two Polish filmmakers, shows the reality of many homeless Russian children, especially a team that lives in the train station in Moscow Leningradsky. In the hands of the filmmakers Hanna Pollak and Andrej Celinski, we enter their lives, routines and broken dreams. Children that to survive they have to beg, steal and prostitute. There are approximately 30,000 homeless children in Moscow who sleep on stairs, dustbins, subway stations, including piping hot water in underground tunnels or sewers. They have to fend for themselves as they can and survive the harsh winter. Many of them contain smell the glue to escape from hunger and violent world around them. However, consider that life on the streets is a better alternative to have already experienced, even in their homes. Each year 100,000 children leave home to live on the streets of Moscow. The documentary shows the overwhelming crisis that faces Russia, particularly Moscow, through the stories of these children living in deplorable conditions, which in turn often face police brutality and death, which directly or indirectly gets in their lives, Oscar nominee for Best Documentary in 2004.
