MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2018 film?

Against numerous chances, Bertolt Brecht's "The Threepenny Opera" becomes a phenomenal success. The movie industry sees the scent and seeks to really make the master direct a film form of his "play with music". Brecht though won't play by their guidelines. Even though the studio really wants to censor the "filth" and tuck at the heart strings to cash in on the success, the writer would like to make nothing significantly less than an entirely brand new sort of movie. A socialist critique on capitalism, staged as a conflict between Mack the Knife, a London gangster, and Peachum, the pinnacle associated with the beggars' mafia. And Brecht cannot bow down; he takes the producers to court in order to show that the moneyed passions are prevailing over his right as an author - and right for the audience.
