MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2006 film?

Set in the 60s and 70s. Effie, Deena and Lorrell promising form a musical group called The Dreamettes. The ambitious agent Curtis Taylor finds them during a contest and offers them the opportunity of a lifetime: to make the chorus for headliner James "Thunder " Early. Gradually, Curtis begins to control the appearance and the music of the girls to finish launching them as The Dreams. But the lights are quick to focus on Deena, forgetting and even pushing the less attractive Effie. Although The Dreams becomes a real phenomenon from coast to coast, they soon realize that the price of fame and the money is much higher than they imagined.
