MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1997 film?

Terry is a shy adolescent depressive plus sports which incidentally spying on his neighbors with a pair of binoculars. No illusions, life bored and decides to commit suicide, however all this we need courage. As he prepares to jump from a bridge in San Francisco Bay meets Nick, who has a terminal illness and would thus convinces him to live.
