MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1968 film?

Ilya Semenovich Melnikov legend teaches in a secondary school. It is very good teacher and his students and colleagues treat him with respect. However, Melnikov has to face a lot of difficulties in their work. In particular, everyone is spreading rumors about Natalya Sergeyevna, English teacher and former student of Melnikov, who is in love with him. Exhausted by the mental suffering, Melnikov ask the manager that allows you to leave your work. At the end of the week will be the last of the Melnikov teaching career, her students in class writing an essay on how they understand happiness.
