MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1988 film?

In the Turkmen Soviet border area of extreme aridity and sweltering heat, the teenager Dr. Malianov alternative care to children with a minor research on disease susceptibility of children living in communities of faith. Mysterious forces conspire to impede the progress of this work: a phone ringing incessantly, a fellow that warns the doctor to leave the region, an unexpected visit from his sister, who died warns you the convenience of not going beyond the limits, the assault of a rebel, the sudden appearance of a child that demands your attention.
