MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1995 film?

Los Angeles, 1948. Ezekiel "Easy" Rawlins looking for honest work to cover the cost of your home. Spurred by a lack of money, he is forced to accept the task of finding a white woman missing for a few days. Has only a hint: the lady in question is very fond of frequenting nightclubs jazz. What at first seems an easy job becomes a nightmare to be involved in two violent murders that point to a mysterious woman dressed in blue.
