MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1977 film?

The journalist Arvid teenager falls in the summer of 1897, the painter Lydia Stille, 18. During the winter, Lydia's father has died, he asks if he wants to be his " secret lover " and she says " I want, but I dare not ." Six months later she married a man of 50 years, historian. Arvid is shaken violently. The years pass. Arvid dutifully marries the daughter of a builder, Dagmar Randel, when found he had been her lover. They have two daughters and Arvid amounts in the newspaper. In 1907 Lydia aaparenta back into your life, by chance in the opera, and have a meeting at a hotel. The following year he divorced and Arvid owns. In the summer Arvid must travel to the fields for the death of his father, and when he returns, he learns that Lydia has been unfaithful with a young colleague from the newspaper, Kaj Lidner.
