MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1991 film?

Mike Church is a Los Angeles detective who specializes in finding missing persons. But the final work has been commissioned is very different: it must help a beautiful lady to recover the lost memory, to discover who he is. The only clue is a recurring nightmare in which someone, in the forties, stabs her with scissors. Sleep is such realism that has made her life hell. Mike decides to put an ad in a newspaper to find someone who knows the girl and can help you. We present Franklyn Madson, antiquarian and hypnotist, proposed going into their memories through hypnosis. So begins to remember, though not his own life but that of Margaret Strauss, famous pianist of the 40s who died murdered.
