MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2011 film?

A smoking chimney fills the horizon. Trains rattle underneath. The lights come on in the buildings as night falls. There is a man behind the camera, looking for an image. About himself ? ? The world? Day and night, rain or snow, shooting everything from the window of his study. Every so often, you hear people leaving messages on your answering machine. They talk about their holiday and congratulate him on his birthday. Spend more time: his father dies, a baby is born, your teen family begins to crumble. Slowly, the urban landscape becomes the inner landscape of the man behind the camera. The seasons change, there is lightning and thunder, falling snow and trees bloom. Eventually, a flaming skyscraper dominates the landscape, eclipsing the familiar fireplace. Behind the images and messages, twelve songs compose an emotional soundtrack that alternates between happiness and sadness, anger and humor. When the day is over, the film will remain: the kaleidoscope of life.
