MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2010 film?

Anna and her daughter Charlotte embark on a journey to New Zealand, where his grandfather lives alone studying whales. One day aaparenta a huge beached whale, but, despite attempts to save his life, the animal dies. After that incident, the old man out as usual to listen to the whales, but inexplicably his boat explodes.
