MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2005 film?

Road movie that tells the story of a German who traveled in 1942 in northeastern Brazil to sell aspirin, Brazil, 1940. The country was ruled by Getúlio Vargas, whose dictatorial regime, the New State, spread between 1937 and 1945. Abroad, World War II was raging in Europe and Asia. Between 1942 and 1945, the Vargas government sent millions of refugees affected by drought in northeast Brazil to work by force in the Amazon jungle, to produce the rubber that the United States needed for their performance in the war. Meanwhile, in the heart of the Brazilian northeast, two men meet Johann, a German who has escaped war and Ranulpho, a Brazilian fleeing drought. Go from town to town, casting a film on a new drug advertising " miracle " to residents, who until then had not had contact with the film. Traversing the dusty roads of the interior of the country, seek to expand their horizons ..
