MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1997 film?

In 1997, more than two decades after the fact to film in the legendary documentary The Battle of Chile, national director Patricio Guzman returns to Santiago camera in hand. It aims to find some of the protagonists of this documentary, who participated, in one way or another - in the events described. But Obstinate Memory is not an exercise in nostalgia. It is, above all, a reflection on oblivion hurt scheduled, on banning remember about the tricks that memory plays us and, quite rightly, is also a look at the younger generation and their opinion about the Chile fragmentary happened. A great documentary.
