MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1989 film?

In 1918, in New York comes a chronic street, an illiterate and petty thief with an incredible punch and kind enough to face the best, Kid McCoy. With 22 years becomes the new world champion, winning fame, money, power, and many enemies, including the influential Sal Santos, boxing promoter and former champion Tommy Ryan, that put Kid in the blacklist. When Kid has achieved what he had wanted to lose everything and have to hescapar abroad. But Kid and his manager returned to the U.S. to face the most bloody and feverish fight of their lives.
