MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1979 film?

Russia, June 1944. The Russian offensive forced the German army to abandon the bridgehead Kwai and the Crimean Peninsula. The division of Sergeant Steiner, even his own squad, suffered terrible casualties. Nevertheless, he manages to gather the survivors and glide through the American lines to meet Captain Stransky. Both fight a heavy battle in a French town on the same day that General Patton breaks Avranche German lines. This film is a remake of Día D, hora H (1950), the remakes are new versions of the same story.
