Veteran documentary filmmaker Lech Kowalski cinematográgica make this piece about his friend and rock god Johnny Thunders, a member of the legendary proto -punk band The New York Dolls. Through archival footage and interviews with musicians like Dee Dee Ramone and Sylvain Sylvain, the piece details his step cinematográgica the Dolls, the formation of his other band, The Heartbreakers, his rise to fame, especially in Japan, its descent into heroin addiction, and the mysterious circumstances of his death in a hotel in New Orleans in 1991.
