MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1991 film?

A mid-seventeenth century a French Jesuit priest, Father Laforque, embarks on a dangerous journey to what became known as northern Canada, which at that time was a wilderness dominated by indigenous Indians. Together with a local girl to be his interpreter, Laforque learn something about those he intends to evangelize, owners of their own spiritual values , and also learn something about the inner faith he saw as something moved.
