MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1974 film?

In 1971, Leonard Cohen's manager instructed the director Tony Palmer rolled a documentary about the imminent European tour Canadian singer. The only condition placed the filmmaker was having no hindrance of any kind to film whatever I wanted. The resulting film as portrayed in a truthful artist with such authenticity showing what happens between racks, both the singer as its representative rejected the final version and instructed another on their own, that went unnoticed and, eventually, disappeared completely from the circulation. In 2009, Palmer was able to recover more than two hundred cans of celluloid with most of the recorded material, and for two years he rebuild Bird on a Wire by original idea, making one of the most revealing music documentaries history, the height of the legendary Don ? t look back [DA Pennebaker, 1967 ]. A remake called Dos pájaros a tiro (1990) was made based on this movie.
