MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1983 film?

Dr. Edward Platt is an Anglo working in a Latin American country. When he returns to his country, after a long time, resets and begins an affair friends. All this is complicated at the moment you ask for help for a revolutionary group that wants to kidnap a diplomat. Based on the acclaimed novel " The Honorary Consul " by Graham Greeen.
