MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2003 film?

Lenfilm's latest major production spins a type of historic dream considering real incidents that is full of ominous implications for today. One evening, a patrol rushes to the chambers associated with Russian prince Pavel, son associated with Empress Catherine; the Empress has died, and Pavel is to be anointed the new Tsar. Thought to be feeble-minded at most useful and crazy at worst, Pavel soon lives as much as his enemies' worries: he dismisses long-serving courtiers, demands that peasants just work three times a week, and declares that state officials should start their times at 5 am. Quickly, it appears that everybody else who is able to is trying to hatch some type of plot against him - including his or her own sons. Sumptuously created, BAD BAD PAVEL constrasts the imperial splendor for the court with the sordid atmosphere of conspiracies and backstabbing that comes to define these characters' everyday lives.
