A remarkably close to one of the most influential bands and iconoclastic in the history of rock music look. Combining material found footage, rare concert footage, interviews with major players like Henry Rollins and Ian MacKaye and comic-style animations, the documentary traces the musical evolution -from hardcore funk to reggae and from there to the band born in Washington. With the turbulent 2007 reunion tour sabotaged by the eccentric and unpredictable leader culmination Paul HR Hudson, A Band In DC captures the struggle of the group to continue making music after 25 years together.
