MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2003 film?

The underground film cinematográgica part of the 1971 Melvin Van Peebles ' Sweet Sweetback's Baadasssss Song "was a key moment in African American cinema of the time. Daring and controversial both for its content and its production process, this third film Van Peebles also meant the acting debut of her 13 year old son, Mario. 33 years later Mario performs a tribute to the achievement of his father, detailing the blood, sweat and tears that took him to that pioneering effort Melvin. Mario also gets literally on the skin of his father, as also plays the role of this in the film.
