MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2001 film?

Based on the true story of Edith Jessie Thompson who was wrongly accused of murdering her husband, convicted and executed by hanging on January 9, 1923 at age 29. Just before the start of the First World War, Edith Jessie Graydon marries her boyfriend Percy Thompson. Percy survive the war and go home but do not have a happy marriage. She really loves him and he realizes. It is very possessive and your daily life is a constant battle. Edith is reunited with Frederick Bywaters, old ex-boyfriend of his sister, fall in love and have a long romance. Edith tries desperately to her husband accepted a formal separation or divorce granted but he stubbornly refuses. Then Frederick decides to do something. On a dark evening, while Edith is walking with her husband, Frederick stabs him to death. Ignoring this intention of Frederick, Edith is shocked and horrified at what happened. Despite this, is charged with murder as Frederick and both are found guilty. Edith claiming their innocence until the day that both are executed.
