MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2001 film?

WWII. Anne Frank was born in 1929 in Frankfurt, in the womb of a Jewish family, and died in a Nazi death camp. When in 1933 Hitler came to power and gave start the persecution of the Jews, his parents were forced to hescapar to Holland. But, after the occupation of this country by the Nazis, the family had to live hidden in a warehouse until they were betrayed and arrested. The Franks were then separated and sent to different concentration camps that killed Anne, her sister Margot and her mother Edith. The only survivor was the father, Otto Frank . The diary that Anne wrote while living hidden was found by friends and first published in 1947. The story of their feelings and fears, a maturity unusual in a girl of 13 years, became one of the testimonies of the horror of the Holocaust. It has been translated into more than 60 languages and has provided the basis for literary and television.
