MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1961 film?

An ambitious officer who wishes to destroy an honest governor orders his henchmen to capture him along with his entire family. Despite his attempts to escape, the governor is captured and died in prison. The mother also dies, however it becomes crane. Robin and her sister have a little more luck: they are sold as slaves to Sansho the Bailiff. Robin tries to escape the cruelty to which they are subjected, however his sister falls into a river where it turns into a mermaid. Robin with the help of his animal friends, a dog, a bear and a mouse, try to recover the possessions taken away and end the slave trade of Sansho. Stylized adaptation of the classic tale Sansho the Bailiff, who had already filmed Kenji Mizoguchi in 1954.
