MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1989 film?

Pete Sandich is a careless fire-fighting pilot that is killed in the thing that was to own been his last objective. Ascending to Heaven, Pete is introduced to business-like angel who instructs the spectral Pete to pass through on their aviation knowledge to their young successor. While doing so, Pete additionally smoothes the length of love for their earthly gf who, after many months of grieving, finally falls deeply in love with another man.
