MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1983 film?

This film tells the true story of the life of Adi Shankaracharya Bhagavatpada reverentially called Acharya, one of the greatest thinkers of India, who lived in the eighth century. Shankara was born into a wealthy family and had a happy and privileged childhood, until his father dies, he being still young. This death light in him a desire to learn and starts the search for knowledge. Soon after, Shankara convinces his mother to let him enter a monastery.
