MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1955 film?

Cesare Cantelli is a human and friendly jailer to prisoners, although she do tricks, deep love him like a father. So much so that at his side the night shift jailer appears to them a scoundrel and so decide to do a hunger strike. Cesare prisoners asked to write in a notebook his story, of how they came to prison. And so we witness the stories of the most peculiar, including Giulio.
