MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1981 film?

Charles Landon and his family manage to escape a storm at sea and take refuge in a small fishing village. Also affected by the storm, a humpback whale is stuck in the lagoon of the village. Many are those who, moved by certain interests, trying to kill her, but Charles not only defends, but tries to convince the villagers absurdity of their behavior.
