MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1992 film?

Emily Edith, also a hard and cynical police officer infiltrates a closed and strict Jewish community in New York and in this way try to discover the perpetrator of a brutal crime. Despite initial reluctance, she gradually gets integrated in the set and also falls in love of the son of a rabbi.
