MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1955 film?

Adapted from a novel by Max Cotto. After the World War II, Joe Lawrence, an American officer, he moved to Berlin and falls in love with Maria, a refugee. The aim of it is to save enough funds to bring South America to a group of German orphans and provide them a better life. Joe, moved by compassion and love he feels for her, try to help. To do this, he and two friends plan the theft of a fortune in gold that the army will move by air from England to Germany.
