MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1953 film?

Hank Martin, a street vendor in the southern United States, married a sweet and beautiful masterpiece. Blinded by ambition and determined to become the next governor of the state, will lead a series of dark events which incidentally is just out of hand. Martin, manipulative and people skills, leads a revolt of the workers of cotton, which is the beginning of his political career. Based on a novel by Adria Locke Langley.
