Philip Glass, whose musical roots are in the vanguard of New York, has become an artist of international stature. The Times has called him " more individual strength in the U.S. from Virgil Thomson opera ". This documentary takes the form of an interior monologue that allows us an intimate look at previous thought, the essay writing his third opera " Akhnaten ". Based on the life of the ancient Egyptian pharaoh who some believe was the first monotheist, " Akhnaten " completes the trilogy of Glass in the lives of remarkable men.
