MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1954 film?

Adapted from the novel by Jules Verne. In 1870, due to the stories of sailors who have seen a sea monster in the South Pacific, the United States halibut a warship to destroy the beast that disrupts the peace of the seas. But when the monster attacks, down with all its military might to avoid disaster. After the sinking of the ship, the crew were rescued by the very " monster ", which happens to be a vessel capable of plunging into the sea, some hitherto unpublished. This movie is part of the 20,00 saga (1932, 1954, 1967, 1969, 1973).
