His film begins in 1966 south of the town of Bogota in a neighborhood called " Tunjuelito " where there were vast estates whose owners leased their land to the artisanal production of bricks. Colombia comes from living 48 year's violence and peasant masses of people migrate to cities, taking refuge in these sub -urban areas. Farmers mostly come to the city with very few tools for their livelihood.
