After two years of scraping by looking for their dreams, older cousin Avery's aspiration seems to have faded. As he makes plans money for hard times, Zach fumbles along, determined to pen the final chapters. Over the course of a week their relationship is tested whenever two brand new individuals enter their life. One, a mysterious blonde, summons a fresh self-confidence from Avery. Another, a derisive gutter punk, starts Zach's eyes to a new globe and lifestyle he was formerly unacquainted with. Seemingly doomed by sick fate, the brothers impulsively turn against one another.
