Marybeth is a transsexual prostitute to get the money to have the surgery that permanently become a woman. The ultimate goal is to marry her boyfriend Benny .
While Manny spends the day working away, his mujer.Concetta care of their son, who is ill, in his poor apartment. At night, Manny works at a place frequented by junkies, drug dealers and prostitutes, and during the day, as a security guard at a hotel.
A guest of that hotel is Willy, a ten- year-old living with her mother and her overbearing boyfriend. Willy begs on the street to get food for himself and his girlfriend Suzie .
But the road is very dangerous, because the volatile gangster Romeo still looking for the murderer of his brother and does not hesitate to terrorize anyone who gets in their way.
