So he befriended the film's star Jean Marais and it is thanks to this that meets Jean Cocteau. Seduced by the enthusiasm of teenage filmmaker, poet gives him a one-act play, " Le bel indiffèrent " which leaves you free to adapt to your stew. The piece triumphantly created by Edith Piaf and Paul Meurisse in 1940 is nothing more than a long monologue of a woman abandoned by a man who rejects the slightest response. Not to repeat the same actors, Jacques Demy entrusted with the role of women to a young unknown actress and friend, Jeanne Allard and an unknown rlocalizado by chance in the street, Angelo Bellini.
